Jennings JS200xV vs Proscale XC501

Any views on which of these two is better? The extra capacity of the XC500 is nice to have but not a necessity. Can a scale calibrated at 500g really be accurate at, say, 1g?

The JS200XV is the "weigh to go"

 The XC501 is not so accurate really - better to stay with the bigger name branded stuff IMO
